It is not a bad summer. I mean compared to really bad ones. But it is one that somehow feels "off". One that doesn't really take off in the sense of longer periods with clear, calm and steady as well warm weather.

The parking of high pressure areas parking over Scandinavia - are lacking. Therefore plenty of low pressure areas constantly penetrate our realm, with unsteady weather. Albeit in the case of Stockholm with - and that's a bit odd way too little rain. In the past 4 month, despite the unsteady weather type - only 64 mm rain have come down. The drought started somewhere in February and has lasted ever since.

The combination of unsteady weather combined with very little precipitation, is a bit odd.

Springtime was warmer than usual with longer periods of mild or warm weather - until it all stopped around the beginning of May. From there on, the weather had far more periods with chilly sections. You can spot that the periods with cooler weather than normal dominates over the red periods, with warmer weather than average.

Many sides, many coins - yet, all connected

But like with all types of illustrations - there is always a or more sides which aren't illuminated / explained / fully understood.

I did however experience many wonderful early mornings - despite the unsteady weather. My working schedule ends often around 6 in the morning, and while walking home, i got to see plenty of sky, sunshine and beautiful moments. From that perspective, summer didn't feel any different from others.

Nevertheless, it should be notet that the average daily sunshinehours for June were "only" 8.5 hours per day, while earlier ones had often between 12-13 hours per day. So, yeah - a lot more clouds this year.

Night are fine, temperature-wise

I can't complain about the nights in terms of temperature deviations; They are most of the time according the average which is somewhere between 12-15°C. So, after midnight, it feels like what summer use to feel like here in Stockholm.

Low water temperatures

Now they do tell a story, yes ? Those temperatures are (in my opinion) unusual low for being 2 July 2025 which is high seasons summer time !

You would expect something like 18-20°C, and during steady warm weather, they would reach even 20-22°C. We are now far from it... Despite being JULY, for crying out loud.

What about the particles from the Canadian Fires ?

I still wonder if the very sudden, yet enormous Canadian wildfires, and the spread of trillions of particles from them, spreading around the northern Hemisphere, kind of started a cycle of much more clouds than normal. After all - how does a water droplet come to be? It NEEDS a particle. The more particles in the atmosphere, the more water droplets, the more clouds. And I am wondering if these very sudden, yet enormous fires, and the circulating smoke has anything to do with this summers weather, and cloud creation.

The thing is - I don't know.

When it comes to weather, patterns and clouds... there are so many factor which play into the creation of weather. Complex as it is, I can't say that one factor dominates over the other. I only know that when you have lots of particles in the air, it tends to create more clouds.

And I am still highly suspicious about the origin's of those Canadian Wildfires; which all of the sudden started over an enormous area on 27 May 2025 - releasing copious amounts of smoke, i could trace all the way to Scandinavia 2 days later, and then another week over Siberia. While Europe was already wrapped into the strange smoke layers lingering for weeks.

It is one hell of a mindfuck they wreck upon citizens. Tax money gone. More debts being made. More for war prepared. No investigations, really. Not truly. No consequences for the criminals and those involved, who are letting the shit to be created.

There are almost no competent politicians left in the Swedish Parliament and Government. They are more or less all of them corrupted up to their necks. It has gotten that bad - and when look beyond our local horizon, i see the same happening in Germany and other countries. It is like a plaque, a cancer eating deeper and deeper into the fabric we once called "Democracy".

Ruled by Pussies (weak, deeply corrupted, unethical, and ego-minded, criminal politicians) wrapped under the protection of "statehood" and "democracy" and "consensus". While showcasing Prada bags in public with risen noses, throwing around high-horse sloagans like "Our Western Values".

What the fuck is there to defend ?! I mean seriously. It couldn't be more hollow then that (I doubt Putin would ever want to put hands on Europe, which so deeply has sunken into corruption, depravation and criminality even on state-level. I mean, you don't "conquer a continent, when you know it would leads to your demise of your people").

There is absolutely nothing Europe has, that Russia ever would want. Just saying.
