Despite having been inactive in my Diary, i have taken plenty of photos during that summer time. One of those moment occurred early morning at sunrise in the district of Hässelby Strand. The yellow illuminated clouds, where endlessly fascinating - as snow or rain fell out of those clouds, without reaching the surface. Which gave the scenery an almost unreal look everywhere you looked.
It was astonishing to see, literally !
And yeah, i have a camera with me, always, at work. Often an Olympus OM-5 or a Olympus OM-1 camera. I know, i still call them Olympus, albeit the company is now called OM Digital Systems. Sometimes I even have the Fujifilm GFX 50s II mediumformat camera with me, together with the heavy, pretty bulky GF 55mm ƒ1.7 lens. And that works well, too. Though, the upcoming GF 110/2 will be even more bulky in comparison. Will see, how that works while i am work (at the Stockholm subway).
One thing I haven't done at all - is to take photos in the photo studio here at home. That project has been down since Jan 2025.... Albeit it is now a truly full-fledged studio with all the whistles and bells. But I need ... uhm... models
*LOL*
Lightpainting - back to basics
Sal and I have a schedule that doesn't align well with one another; when it comes to take images in the photo studio. When both spring time and summer approached, basically all studio activity got silent, as my interests shifted. I do however think, that it all will come back in later autumn, when daylight light starts to withdraw from our latitudes; the weather gets more funky, and the nights get longer and colder - while you get more more busy indoors at home.
The other day, I even stepped back to the basics of light painting; simply, incandescent light-bulb based flashlights, a lá Maglights; whose head you can take off, and it shows a beautifully point, shaped light bulb - which is ideal for light painting. without that the haft obstructs the exposure. Those the the types which are perfect for making hovering orbs.
Very simplistic.
