Soon the airmass which still could give us one or two days with 20°C, will be gone - replaced by a much cooler airmass from the north. Albeit the latest prognosis versions, seem to indicate that the transition might not turn into such a cold period in the near future. At first they were like... predicting 10-12°C maximum temperatures. But this now looks (only one day later) more like 15°C instead. Which actually is slightly higher than normal for Stockholm in the end of September.

But I am weary of these computer models, because the change outlooks faster than what we humans change underwear. Sometimes 6 hours is enough to shift an outlook into the complete opposite...

Just saying.

Who on earth would want to rely on models, which are notoriously are unreliable in the near time, then why would climate models "predicting the future like 50-100 years" be anything more accurate ?

Who on earth would even think that prognosis of climate would come closer to the truth, compared to the highly unreliable 10 day weather outlooks... which as i said, change underwear every 6 hours, and show often a very different outlook, when you compare.

Is it just for show ? Or is it, because "computer can", but that doesn't make them any more reliable or truthful, really. Well, especially not for an outlook like 50-100 years

Gosh, what a strange world of "make-belief" we live in.

So, here we go, Stockholm.

First comes the previous GFS prognosis for Stockholm, and then the one they made today. (This applies only for the gray zone temperatures in the chart. The clear zone in the charts are factual, observed/registered MIN and MAX temperatures for Stockholm.

While the first shows a pronounced drop in temperatures due to a predicted inflow of cold air from the north... - while today's prognosis shows a warmer ending of September due to a predicted high pressure area parked over Scandinavia preventing any cold airmass inflow from the North.
