The high clouds from this morning

are the result of strong winds flowing over the Southern Norwegian mountains - inducing high clouds - in a stretch between Oslo, Stockholm all the way on the other side of the Baltic sea to Latvia and into Russia.

They are still present over both Oslo and Stockholm - now in the afternoon at 15.30 - as the westerly airflow towards is still going strong. (It is the core of a jet stream right above us).
