It startles me

one year later - that the above photo looks almost as if an UFO / UAP is flying in the air.

But no, it was an airplane moving above the water outside of Catania in Sicily. While at the same time, a diver was swimming with his light right outside the harbor, where we stood in the middle of the night.

It was a handheld image, taken with the fantastic Canon RF 50 mm ƒ 1.2 L lens (Canon EOS R6). What a marvel in terms of optical perfection.

Ah. It was wonderful to be in Sicily. This was the first evening - experiencing the mildness in the air. Sal and I took a very long stroll along the harbor, where a pier branches out far outside.
