What a strange story. I mean if felt and feels strange. Not to mention the physical changes in my face from day to day, even from 6 hours to the next 6 hours changing. The collection of fluids around my eyes really makes me look goofy strange.

The main culprit of everything was the presence of Streptococcus bacteria in my blood. I didn't know how extremely dangerous that actually is (easily turning into sepsis - and then you are really in da shithouse). It must been pretty close... Given that I didn't get any help on the first day when i searched for help at the local healthcare station. It took another 24 hours - but the infection really got a lot worse during the night, culminating into a fever to over 40.5°C.

Puh !

However, the antibiotics did unfold their powers, reducing the pathogenic load after 2 days; from "127" to "75" (Normal level in the blood is 5). Don't ask me what exact units are behind it - I don't know. But i know that the pathogenic pressure is going down - which means the antibiotics (Flucloxacillin) are working. I still have to take them 9 days or so.

The skin around my eyes, partially on my ear as well to the side of my eyes - is so dry and rough - similar to when you burned the skin badly. So, I assume it will get replaced - because in the outer layers there is no life in it. It feels as if it is too damaged.

Most likely it will take a couple weeks until the healing process has replaced the damaged skin.

Whole scalp skin replacement in progress

Actually i just noticed that my entire skalp - the skim under my hair - is shedding !! I had so many flakes on my sweater in a way i have never seen before. It was like WOW a lot... So yeah. The skin is now getting replaced, practially all over my head.

*startled*

I was pretty surprised

that my other eye also got puffy this afternoon when i woke up. It went puffy almost much as my left (right in the photo) has done. But without any reddishness.

On a good note

is that i notice now, before midnight that the puffiness has decreased a little bit. That's the first time I've seen such a tendency. So, it is going on the right direction. The infection under my skin - which is a large area beginning from one ear to the other, stretching over my entire head including the upper part and on the back / neck - have all really gone down significantly.

It doesn't hurt anymore, other than being a little bit sensitive.

In the mean time i stopped by at work, delivering my papers from the doctor and went back home again. I notice that simple task take out more energy that I've expected. It is easy to overestimate ones energy reserves. Once at home, it felt sooo god, believe me.
