*hurrrk* It is just gray, gray, gray... all the time. Darkish. Rainy. While also pretty mild for our region. But the lack of sunshine, does make the world look a lot duller, for sure. I can't believe that we are now once again going into the long, big gray. That weird half-sleep called winter.
On Sunday winter time returns. Making it all feel even weirder. Yeah no, I am not a fan of many days without sunshine. And speaking of sunshine... how did things develop this year ?
Very average... Not a single month has remarked itself in terms of sunshine hours this year. October has this far been on the sunnier side, but since we are now facing many gray days, the average is falling. As of now below 4 hours sunshine per day in average.

Low pressure areas - plenty of clouds
As you can see, plenty of clouds hover over Europe, except in the very south. Temperature wise we see typical autumn temperature over most of Europe. It is only the extreme south which still harbor summer temperatures between 25°, and in small areas with peaks up to 30-34°C (South Spain).
I can understand that people move to the south at older age... Who wouldn't ?

Stockholm outlook
According to the clown prognosis of GFS - Stockholm will face continued relatively mild weather. No frost or snow to be seen. But then I also know that GFS changes prognosis outlooks more often than underwear.
So, there is that.
BY the way, what are the normal average MAX this time of the year. It used to be around 8.4°C for Stockholm City, but since we are in a newer climate period (1991-2020), it should be somewhere around 10.2°C or so.
In other words, pretty normal temperatures. I shouldn't even speak about mild temperatures. The only difference is, that the night too, had the same temperature (10.5-11.2°C) at night during this rainy, gray over cast weather.
