It is about to come to an end - because I think i have collected enough of X-Men and STAR WARS figures *LOL* [FAMOUS LAST WORDS - HA !!]

I am not even sure where this sudden passion is coming from. I guess, it is a teenager thing. But even that isn't entirely true either, because I had no special "idols" in my youth. It came later - as i already mentioned back in 1990, with a Swedish written X-MEM comic. And then there was "V" - the strange sci-fi series from the early 80s, with the fascinating lizard queen "Diana" played by Jane Badler. It was more of a fascination, then an idolization, though.

Along our lives

For most people, X-Men and in particularly STAR WARS were and are something we got with us in our "modern" culture. Further boosted by the many sequels and prequels that where made after years 2000 reviving the franchise

Now that the Hasbro figures are incredible life-like these days - really depicting the faces of those actors who played characters like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin, Ashoka, etc. Incredible likable when you see the standing there "just like that". Really cool, I love it !

To my surprise, given how sudden this passion has entered my life - is surprising. Sal likes the figures and thinks they are very cool. Together with the spaceship the Millennium Falcon, and since yesterday, the Clumsy looking AT-AT fighters, which the Empire used against the resistance on planet Hoth.

Nevertheless, the amounts of figures are now ebbing out, because I have so many now standing in my room, there is barely much more room left. *LOL* Even classic cute R2-D2 is part of it - but not C-3PO who has to wait for some time before i order it.

"V"

On top of my list is the mothership from the original "V" series (1983). A guy in Spain makes them, as well give them a weathered look. I really like the classic look of that mothership.

I have always dreamed about doing fantasy images with the mothership hanging among the clouds above Stockholm's cityscape.

Trinity and Neo

went beyond the charades of "reality". Matrix is a movie with many layers. First comes the commercial one, in which we see it as a fictional action film. Then beneath the layers lies a lot more depth - especially in the first movie.

The last (or fourth) movie which was introduced a couple years ago is in essence just glossy make-up without depth or meaning. Fun, cool - but without deeper substance.

Both Trinity and Neo should arrive in a couple weeks at my door step.

Symbolism

represent for me, a symbol of going beyond the matrix. Beyond of what you see and hear in today's world. In order to learn how to distinguish and discern reality from reality. Stripping away wishful thinking, and the behavior of putting your head in the sand.

Our reality the way we perceive it, the way we give belief in it - is of course in many ways very solid, VERY convincing. At the same time, highly deceiving by obscuring the reality behind our "reality".

To enable "what the eye sees behind the retina". Like the saying goes; there is always more than what meets the eye.

Frequencies, Energies, Resonances

I also love that Sal looked like "Neo" in his youth (at the age of 25)

One who goes beyond. Sal doesn't engage in much of the nonsense that is played out in the world, as well nationally in Sweden and Italy. He notices it, he acknowledge it - but he doesn't engage.

Like a man who by instinct engages in higher wisdom. I may have more words, but he uses his native instincts - and focuses on the better qualities in people.

That doesn't mean he is stupid or isn't noticing about the lesser qualities in and about people's personalities. He just doesn't engage into that side. He isn't pouring any mental or physical energy into the lower frequencies.

Truly Remarkable !
