Airplanes

When you use the Olympus "Live Comp" feature, by taking am image towards the NNE at my balcony, looking towards Arlanda, which is around 50 km to the north - you will realize the many airplane lights collected on their way to the airport.

I exposed the image for 3 hours !

It is fascinating to see all those light trails from the airplanes... There are of course also star trails visible higher up in the photo. Can you imagine to take a photo like this at a far more busy airport ? I don't know... like London Heathrow, Amsterdam Schiphol or Frankfurt in Germany ? The amount of light trails must be overwhelming after 3 hours of exposure.
