Whips from China

These fiber whips, illuminated from within - where every fiber has slightly different length, and have a curl in the end - are surprisingly well made (for photographic light paintings). It even rotates when you swirl around the whole thing. The handle itself is made of high quality plastic, and feel absolutely perfect in the hands.

Overall, I thought first that this would be something very fragile - but I was mistaken. It is suited at a higher end quality, perfectly and highly affordable for doing visual art - or like in photography, using the device for light painting.

Colors

It has has 7 different solid colors (non-blinking). But when you double click, there are numerous different flash patterns as well. Not so useful for me doing light painting (or better said, so far i have not found a good way to implement flashing patterns in light paintings). I prefer solid, non-blinking colors. All that works excellent. While you charge them with 2 traditional AA batteries.

I mean, what is there not to like ?

If you use them at a party, they look like a waterfall with a color of your choosing. I absolutely love these illuminated whips !
