My shoulders / upper arms - especially the right side - has for month a pain, which limits the moment of it. At night it is the worst - because I can barely sleep on that shoulder. During daytime, i am pretty much OK. but once in a while i make a movement - which makes the pain spike. it is the type of pain you get right after a dislocated arm (going out and right back in). That is when it really hurts.
Now i don't know why this has gotten worse (?). It started in my left arm - which i know was caused by a tooth i need to pull sooner or later. I had this before back in the mid-2010s, when a tooth rot after crown got loose. I never understood that it favored decay (turning black inside) - and affected what i interpret as that bacteria somehow affected the nerves in the arm, making it far less movable. Back then i thought.. gosh, is that how it feels to get older. I was what ? 46 ?
No. it was that bloody tooth.
Now this time, things are less severe (and the tooth itself isn't black) but i know that something in it affects my left arm. That diffuse pain then moved over to the backside of my next, into the right arm - (while my left arm is fine now). But the pain hasn't gone away in the right arm. It just seems to sit there... And i don't have any bad tooth on the right side. So, it can't be the that.
Liposomal: Vitamin C & Glutathione
Anyway. I have now ordered liposomal Vitamin-C as well liposomal reduced Glutathione. My thinking is that a higher uptake of both - could perhaps have a difference on whatever is going on in my right upper arm.
Liposomal means that the molecules are embedded in fat molecules. That way it transfers itself far easier into the blood stream. Normally Vitamin-C is taken up via our intestines (which takes if i recall correctly - I am not sure - several days. So, the uptake is rather slow.
While I do constantly drink Vitamin-C (ascorbic acid / ascorbate ) in our prepared water - and therefore having a constant basic amount of it for years on daily basis... But something tells me, that I should up the dose that gets (in the end) into the blood steams and further into the cells - via liposomal distribution instead.
Vitamin-C is essential for many things; especially inflammation.
IT CURES DISASE !
Vitamin-C is an electron-donor
giving readily off electrons to detrimental molecules in our body, who steal electrons from our tissue (and thereby create damages and inflammation).
Vitamin-C neutralizes this.
Therefore Vitamin-C is so extremely important for the human body ! 8We are also talking about Vitamin-C in cells - as different cells in your body, need different amounts of Vitamin-C). You can have enough Vitamin-C in your blood - but can still get scurvy (Vit C deficit) in a local group of cells, e.g. in heart and brain tissue !
Ascorbic acid / Vit C has TWO electrons it can donate.
The neutral version of Vitamin-C called "ascorbate" only has one electron to give off to damaging free radicals (which are missing electrons).
Most animal produce their own Vitamin-C (with a few exceptions) For example goats, when they are suddenly stressed or are sick, their bodies create a whopping 100 gram of Vitamin-C PER DAY !
The recommendation for the human body officially is ridiculous low; they recommend less for a large body, compared to what a cat produces.
Go figure - the equation of that little recommended (50-75 mg per day) Vitamin-C does not bode well for human health, i can tell you that.
Vitamin-C water
Sal and I usually mix 5 gram ascorbic acid (Vitamin-C), in an itsy teeny amount of water - together with a 1/4th volume of bicarbonate.
That fizzles then for 1 minute, turning the sour ascorbic acid less sour, partially into a more neutral ascorbate version (also Vitamin-C) and more gentle for the stomach. Then i add water to the 1.2 liter bottle plus a half squeezed lemon (as it enhances the uptake of Vitamin-C through so called Flavonoids !).
That's it.
Alternative; i take a glass of water, and pour 1 gram of ascobic acid in it - and drink it.
If you happen to take too much Vitamin-C
You may encounter what they call a "C-flush". Everything goes down the toilette after a short time. It is not dangerous. Simply decrease the amount of ascorbic acid / Vitamin C, and you are good.
There are a little group of people, have a genetic malfunction, which makes them intolerant to Vitamin-C (albeit their body still need Vitamin-C). (-> Watch the Video with Suzanne Humphies below, which mentions this)
Ascorbic acid is cheap
but of course very sour. You can instead buy ascorbate instead, which is the neutral form of Vitamin-C. So, we don't need to deal with funny pills and sometimes strange bulk fillings which are common (you have to check the ingredients). The powder form of ascorbic acid is pretty much best.
I don't do oranges (or other fruits, and especially not any of the commercial drinks which make advertising for (tiny) Vitamin-C content - but always combined with huge amounts of sugar). The sugar then competes with Vitamin-C in your body. Not a good thing at all. Plus that sugar depletes your magnesium - which we too, have far too little of - because there is barely any magnesium left in our water.
All about Vitamin-C
Lecture on Vitamin-C by brilliant Suzanne Humphries Stockholm, Sweden 2014
(1 hour 55 minutes)
It is by far the most brilliant video revolving around Vitamin-C I have come across in the past 12 years. I call Dr Suzanne Humphries "The Queen of Vitamin-C" - and it is filled with pure knowledge based on real medical science !
Magnesium
Magnesium water
We do prepare magnesium water ourselves, and buy Magnesium citrit directly from Germany in 1/2 kilo power form. The male body requires around 450 mg magnesium per day, the female body 330 mg. If you are working hard, you tolerate more. I remember when Sal was working the hardest in Sicily - he took up to 1000 mg per day and tolerated it (without getting soft stool)
If you take too much, you may encounter that your stool gets loose. Then you simply decrease the amount of Mg citrit per day. Problem solved.
Stockholm's city water contains a mere 5 mg Magnesium per liter.
Be aware of not so good bulk fillings in pills
Tri-mag.eu sells pure Magnesium citrit - without any bulk fillings of doubtful ingredients such as: Magnesium stearate and siliciumoxide you often find in pills.
Avoid those at all costs.
Magnesium forms to avoid:
Also avoid the Magnesium form that is based on Magnesium oxide [extremely poor bio-availability] or Magnesium aspartate - the latter which is counter effective).
Earlier times I remember from 2012 - almost all health stores sold Magnesium based on Magnesium oxide. Which didn't do anything for health, because the body barely could take it up. I think the uptake rate is just 3%. A pure waste of money.
Not totally unheard of, right ?
The powder form of Magnesium citrite is also the most affordable version. The irony is, that pill forms of Magnesium often cost 10-14x more, than the powder. Go figure.
in a huge amount of processes (200+) in the body. It is also know as the "heart element", because it calms down the heart, and eases stress. It takes several months, for the magnesium deposites to go up at healthy levels again.
Vitamin D3(+K2)
Vitamin D3+K2
Most people suffer from lack of magnesium (as well Vitamin-D3+K2) - which are the reason for many illnesses and deaths when you for example encounter respiratory viruses. Vitamin D3+K2 in high doses (5000-10.000 IU every second day), everyone should take ! The official recommendation are ridiculous 500 IU. That's like a drop into the ocean.
I personally take 20.000 IU every second day. After all, i rarely see the sun, and work during night times, sleeping during daytime.
Vitamin D Through the sun... unfortunately there is a twist
Our Stockholmian sun is most time of the year not high enough (requirement: 45 degrees or more above the horizon), in order to activate the body's creation of Vitamin D though the skin.
Where you can get up to 100000 IU Vitamin-D3 after an hour (!) Doesn't kill you, does it ? No it doesn't. But does you damn good !
When Vitamin D levels are too low in the blood
If the amount of available Vitamin D3 levels are far too low in our blood - I mean seriously low - you die (when you encounter respiratory illness). That is what happened to many people when they encountered Covid. (I am talking about those who didn't run to the hospitals - because there unfortunately they often used the wrong protocols, which created death from the treatment: see Madrid, Bergamo, New York etc with totally abnormal death rates)
Those untreated, who had the lowest amounts of Vitamin D3 (below 17 nanomol) in their blood, did die - (the death rate at that low level of 17 nmol Vitamin D, is 100%)
No bitch, THAT it is close to deadly low Vitamin-D in the blood!
You should have at least 62 ng (or 125 nanomol/l) - which is ideal !
When Mary made a test, she had 79 ng (nanogram) or 158 nmol (nanomol) per liter Vitamin D3 in her blood. Officially close to "toxic" - but in reality, that is exactly the perfect level she had/has. I put her data in a chart of Vitamin D levels among the German people - where the majority has by far too low levels of Vitamin D in their blood.
Dr Berg is right: 90% of the population have too low Vitamin D3 levels !
We wouldn't have any fatalities
in respiratory illnesses - if our Vitamin D3 levels would be at optimal levels in our bodies - which means a lot higher than the official recommendation !
Listen. And learn.
10.000 IU of Vitamin D - a huge mistake ? by Dr Eric Berg
