Yesterday morning and daytime, we had really interesting weather. Being in the very center of a broad low pressure area - the type of weather was almost "funny". Lots of big bulgy clouds - but at the same time also blue skies, rain in the distance, dark walls in the north. It was as if the weather could decide to be on the mostly rainy and cloudy side, or if it would kind of "dry out the clouds". It went forth like that, during many hours, neither fish nor bird.
A 130 km long worm *LOL*
Then a line of thunderstorms merged into a very long line (on the radar), like a worm, streching from Nynäshamn, over Stockholm city all the way up to Norrtälje... creating a 130 km long worm *LOL*
Once the thunderstorms ebbed out - the rain took over - and that with a lot of power - because it came down like raining "cats and dogs". (I wonder where that expression comes from ? Did tornadoes suck up animals, and then rained down on Middle Age people in Europe ?).
Since I was up since the evening, went to work, and then came home around 06.15 in the morning. I started to get really, really tired around 13.00 - but the thunderstorms were fun to observe - running back and forth between my desk and the balcony.
