The images looks either like a super grainy photo made with a low resolution camera, or a bad alteration of an existing (older, digital) image. Or casued through the use of a heavy "creative" filter from a mobile phone

In reality

i focused the GFX 100s II camera at infinity (on a different, clearer subject), then put the camera into manual focus modd. Then framed it towards a portion of a Cumulonimbus thunderstorm cloud, which was very bright. In between heavy sheets of rain falling... which is how the images came to be.

Just like that.

Looks strange... weird, pretty and not pretty. I can't decide. It seems to have a silent "life of its own". At first sight, ugly and bad. And second sight, there is actually more in the "feeling", than it first reveals.
