As Doomsday Crows croak from the rooftops of year 2026, about excessive heat - which it was for a week, and now again drives temperatures up to 40.5°C yesterday in Marseilles, France... in modern times with all the "luxury" we have in today's society; such as electricity, water, freezers and air conditioning.

At the same time, we seem to forget or not even know, the utmost severe, truly disastrous heat waves from the past, which made large rivers like the Rhine in Germany, or Seine in France dry up completely. A phenomena i do not recall ever having been observed in modern times, i should add.

This article was listed in the No 1 issue of the Gaillard's Medical Journal - the American Medical Weekly in June 1886, in New York.

Hot Weather

Many a man has mopped his brow during the summer months of 1881, declaring it was the hottest weather the world ever knew, which, of course, would not be true, for the extreme heat in the record of the past has not been approached during the late summer.

Year 627

the heat was so great in France and Germany, says the London Standard, that all springs dried up; water became so scarce that many people died of thirst.

Year 879

work in the field hnd to be given up; gricultural laborers persisting in their work were struck down in a few minutes, so powerful was the sun.

Year 993

the sun's rays were so fierce that vegetation burned up as under the action of fire.

Year 1000

rivers ran dry under the protracted heat, the fish were left dry in heaps and putrefied in a few hows.

Year 1022

Men and animals venturing in the sun in the summer of 1022 fell down dying.

Year 1132

not only did the rivers dry up, but the ground cracked and became baked to the hardness of stone. The Rhine in Alsace nearly dried up.

Year 1139

Italy was visited with terrific heat in 1139; vegetation and plants were burned up.

During the battle of Bela, in 1200

there were more victims made by the sun than by weapons; men fell down sunstruck in regular rows.

Year 1277

The sun of 1277 was also severe; there was an absolute dearth of forge.

Years of 1303 and 1304

the Rhine, Loire and Seine ran dry.

Year 1615

the heat throughout Europe became excessive.

Scotland 1625

suffered particularly in 1625; men and beasts died in scores. Meat could be cooked by merely exposing it to the sun. Not a soul dared to venture out between noon and 4 P.M.

Year 1718

many shops had to be closed; the theatres were never opened for several months. Not a drop of water fell during six months.

Year 1753

the thermometer rose to one hundred and eighteen degrees (47.7°C)

1779

the heat at Bologna (Italy] was so great that a large number of people died.

July, 1793

the heat became intolerable. Vegetables were burned up and fruit dried upon the trees. The furniture and woodwork in dwelling-houses cracked and split up; meat became bad in an hour.

In Paris in 1846

the thermometer marked one hundred and twenty-five degrees in the sun.

The summers of 1859, 1860, 1869, 1870, 1874, etc.

although escessively hot, were not attended by any disaster.

Have we all become snowflakes in 2026

unable to distinguish between proclaimed disasterous from in truth disastrous, when people truly suffered, and it meat death to many ?

Or is it the media of toay, the outlets of propaganda steered by not so friendly powers from behind, who introdrinating us constant messages, altering our perceptions over time, and making us to support many - in truth - disastrous (political) decisions, like Germany eliminating all nucler powerplants despite being the largest economy of Europe... while now buying excessive expensive resources from abroad, importing environmental destructive fracking gas from US, and unstable expensive wind and solar power.

Having to pay, to get rid of electricity...

When there is no sun or/and wind, Germany imports electricity from surrounding countries. When there is too much sun and/or wind, Germany has to pay to get rid of the excessive electricity (income= 0) which other countries then take up for free. On top of that, solar and wind power are extremely unreliable, creating a highly unstable electricity grid. The interventions are now 20.000 times in Germany annually.

Earlier, Germany had Europe's most stable electricity grid in Europe, requiring only a few times interventions annually (Intervention means to adjust the flow of in and outbound power as it always need to have the exact voltage within an extremely narrow corridor, preventing the grid from going down if it diverts too much - it needs to be regulated. You can't store power in the electricity grid !

Electricity is something that can only consumed now in the moment - and therefore the inflow and consumption of electricity ALWAYS needs to be exactly the same. (That's why Spain had the major blackout, due to excessive production of solar power that day). Otherwise the grid goes down followed by a brown or blackout, (whose consequences are severe for society). Solar and wind power are the most unstable, unreliable type of power sources, as they fluctuate enormously. Other energy sources i.e. powerplants - create stability in the electric grid. The more to take those away, and replace them with solar and wind power, the more unstable the grid becomes.

Then Germany stopped gas coming in from Russia (which was Germany's and von der Leyens decision on their own, because Russia offered gas to continue at all times - but von der Leyen said "No". Now in a recently held speeech, she says that Russia stripped Europe from Gas - which is a blatant lie.

Lies, which von der Leyen is infamous for - as she spits them out like a chain of rotten pearls.

'They fuck you and your brain, not only once or twice - but a hundred times.

And we. Swallow. Everything. Like brave little birds.

Or do we ?
