One of my favorite images is the one with the sleeping seals / sea lions, taken at 600 mm focal length at the Berlin Zoo. The place is such a wealth of animals. Giving a splendid way to test and exercise photography with/on animals.

Today I would perhaps used somewhat different photo technique, such as Bird AI and Animal AI. Back then I didn't use it with the Olympus EM1X camera. It is only something i have been using lately, in both Olympus OM-1, the Fujifilm GFX 100s II - and it works actually better than my own pointing with AF-S focus skills.

It is really kind of cool.

Stockholm Skansen

Sal, Mary and Teresa went to Skansen today - the oldest free-air animal park in Europe (since 1891 i believe). I am sure there were more animals to see compared to when we went in April or May once - where there weren't many to see. It isn't like a Berlin Zoo. It has a very different aura. Kind of more like a free park type of zoo.
