For exercises, I think the Berlin Zoo was absolutely amazing. I had such a great time, actually both times i was there. Once with Sal back in August 2019. I loved it - because as a photographer it gave such many opportunity to study the animals in various poses. And we did make amazing images (at least in my opinion) which of course are not comparable with Safari images professional photographers have taken - of which some are just outstanding.

But i loved it at the Berlin Zoo. Through my senses however, I could sense a sort of sluggishness / sleepiness in the spirit of the animals... especially the elephants, the rhinos and others.

What about humans ?

I wounder thought... the apples isn't falling far from the tree. We in "modern" societies, sometimes remind me of sluggish spirits. Sleepy and complacent - regardless what goes on in the world or around us, including what moves in the midden unseen. Mostly never seen on the radar of people's senses...

Kind of busy, sleepwalking... and in a strange way, caged with invisible boundaries. Limiting the spectrum of vision, sense and intuition by a great deal.

I feel pretty divided to all that. And yet, feel it every day, when I am at work, looking at people (our passengers passing by). It reminds me of the elephants in at the Berlin Zoo... sleepwalking due to encapsulated senses / in spirit.

Always a very strange vibe i get... truly, daily.

I often ponder about the phenomena. Because it is so difficult to put finger on it. What if I interpret it wrongly, you know ? So, i am at the same time hesitant to lock myself to an decisive opinion. Yet can't shake off the feeling i am almost daily confronted with, in which I sense a lot of complacency, sluggishness and sleep with open eyes closed as people pass by...
