Largest display this Season

The great display of Noctilucent Clouds this far of season 2026, was in the night of 16-17 July - while I was on duty, driving our subway trains. At least at one point I was able to take a photo with my iPhone as i arrived at Gullmarsplan turnaround rail, where I could go outside and watch the display from that location high up on a bridge.

It was more in the beginning, hours after sunset - so around midnight, there were some really interesting features on display in those 80 km high clouds. Image further below.

Earlier

There was an area along the very wide display of Noctilucent Clouds, which showed interesting swirls and bulges. In total, i believe the entire display streched around 140 degrees wide ... Reaching the zenith, too.
