We have now entered Peak Summer Season of 2026 - which annually measures the highest average temperature. Naturally, reality regarding weather is a bit different compared to the 30 year's average. Either way, this is the warmest period of the year.

Despite a 30°C+ peak in July

- the average temperatures this far (22 days) is +/- 0°C or slightly below. Giving you a hint on that July has been mainly on the chilly side, expect for some really warm to hot days. You can discern the chilly periods in the chart above.

2 month until Autumn equinox

Kind of strange to think about that... but "winter" is coming, faster and faster. For me, the Autumn equinox symbolizes here in Sweden the entry to a darker, far more cloudy and meaner as well colder times.

Perhaps first gently, but then in October more visibly... not to mention the sometimes extremely dull November. And you wait and wait and wait... until late next spring, for the sun, inspiration and smiles return.
