There has been no frost in the Stockholm region just yet.

Not even close if you look at the Stockholm City station, which still has margins above the 10°C threshold för MIN temperatures. However, in the much wider outskirts far away from the city - yes, the temperatures have dipped lately to sensitive temperatures...

Sweden as a whole had already frost temperatures high up in the north inland - but I don't remember the date. I think it was already some morning in July.

As soon the sun came out, temperatures rose very fast again.

It is a tale...

of that the nights increase in length - which favors during clear weather and not necessarily too cold airmasses - that temperatures already drop at our latitudes inland in particularly (while the coastal stations often have MIN temperatures between 12 and 16°C) where the water are (relative) warm, storing summer's energy.
