Divine

I consider dark, clear nights at really dark places to be one of the worlds most fascinating, awe inspiring experiences in life. It makes you overcome with a tranquility and calm, as if the world's problems (and especially your personal ones), shrink to a minimum, while reconnecting to you all there is. It may not spill it out in words - but the profound connection within - is clearly present.

It changes you into something, you have forgotten you always have been, are and always will be.

Moments, which would be wonderful, if we people could reconnect to from time to time. As a reminder. A most wonderful reminder of there is more to live then the box you're in.

Opposite of divinity

So no, i am not impressed nor a fan of Elon Musk and all the other entities who send you ten thousands of satellites into the night sky in order to usher in a totalitarian control system across the globe. (make no mistake, because that is the end game - together with all the AI voodoo which destroys not just nature at many levels, but robs humanity of power and water... Politician cocksucker bitches - gosh so tiresome those primitive parrots have become - promise of more jobs - which ultimately is all utter bullshit. Paid off, and nowadays utterly bad actors, babbling about democracy. Gosh, so hideous and false to say the least. They don't even know how to lie well any longer - it has gotten that bad.

Once the AI centers stand - sometimes large as Manhattan Island (!) - there are not many left there to work).

You on the other hands - get to pay those bills.

So, there is that.

City lights without spill cover

I am also no fan of those bloody overwhelming lights being installed across cities without protection against spill light, leaking broadly into the night sky.

It all does really sort of disconnect us from our roots... people who never have seen a true starry night sky in all its glory. it is utterly fascinating to experience. In the same league like a total solar eclipse, and a strong outbreak of Northern Lights / Aurora.
