Surprise
I used a 37 MP RAW photo i took of the train I was driving, while waiting near the Odenplan station in order to go southwards again... Upgraded Photoshop to the latest version... and then played with the AI models in there, which in this case was Gemini 3.1
What surprised me was that despite the large photo, the resolution was pretty decent. (Better than before !) OR so it seems. Especially once you scale down the photo, it looks really sharp now.
And that surprised me... - The earlier models just felt so mediocre.
Not a fan of AI
Really not. Not impressed,d nor do i like the way it is heading and changing photography's DNA and the psychological issues, what so easily can and already have been impacting our sense of reality - with contents that don't even exist. In order to twist the truth even further... more for the hidden hands, and not for humanity's best interests. The spirit of time today, shows more clearly than ever.
Pity we are so easily seduced by so many things.
I have noticed that the more you search on the internet for motives, in order to see let's say a specific volcano - you get more and more fake AI images. Or when i search for famous people's portraits - you get that IA slop which has become tedious to even look at. When true photography being replaced with AI wanna-be "realities", it is tiresome. Also the trend of many pages on the internet now mostly using AI images for illustrations. It has become a habit - often dramatized to a degree, that it makes me wanna barf. Plus that it twists the senses into something that makes truths even more blurry.
It is just shitty the whole thing - but I am not going into the details about the why's. AI isn't what it appears to be - because we only see the bread crumbs of a technology that is meant to pulls us in and make us dependent; like a pimp to the Heroinist. The real meaning of AI is a totally different one; an installation of total control behind the scenes. Ultimately means to reduce humanity, so that the rest can serve the few.
I use Photographic AI for GOOFY images
Occasionally i use AI models in order to "remodel" friends into goofy looking fake-trans. Or to place them in a different looking environment; let's say changing a picture from day to night, or from summer to winter.
I sometimes play with photos i took, by transforming them without changing the content. A train remains a train. Stockholm views, where Stockholm remains Stockholm - but in a different dress (for example an ice age, etc).
After an hour, i get tired... You can do a couple of images, but then it becomes... I don't know. Fun is fun, when it is fun for a while. And then it ain't fun anymore. It would otherwise be like sending 30 AI images to your friends. How fun do you think they gonna feel about it, at the 20th AI photo ?
"Ha-Ha-Ha" type. *rolling my eyes*
OK. Enough now.
What I don't like is, when the AI suddenly creates something out of the blue from my images: a totally different landscape with nothing left of the original photo. That's just... well, i ask myself... now what ?! I am not even the "artist" really. So, what it is good for ?
Is beyond me.
Lots of restrictions (via Photoshop AI models)
When working in Photoshop with AI models, they do have a lot of restriction. things you never can do. It is like having a nanny, who constantly is bitching, your better said; quietly ignores many of your queries (dependent on what exactly it is you wanna illustration via AI).
Now when it comes to my photography, and the restrictions - i am OK with it. I am not doing any nude changes, or "blowing-up-things illustrations. i mean i use Photoshop as a photographic Darkroom for 99.9%. Do, i don't need an AI models in Photoshop which would allow me to change dick sizes or undress people.
The internet is full of that shit. It doesn't need another nerd doing nerdy things.
"Helga & Stella Comics"
At the end of this photo series, you can see a couple of goofy images where I played with AI on Sal and Claus, around a year ago, I believe.
They ARE fun to create !!!
I did these "Helga und Stella Comics" series already 20+ years ago every time Claus and I went out for coffee - and then at home i would combaine many goofy images we took of our selves - adding talking bubbles with phrases only gay's would say *LOL*
However, now with AI models, things are a lot easier to change Sal's or Claus hair, in a more realtistic way, giving me more options of goofying around.
That is basically the only thing, where i now use AI - for "Helga und Stella Comics". |
