This very mild weather period will soon move towards slightly winter-like conditions, e.g. much cooler. Southern Sweden had up to 17°C yesterday.

It seems that the incoming cold will proceed without any snowfalls (or just briefly some flakes)

Nevertheless - it will be colder in line with normal temperature for this time of the year. It might last 4-5 days, and then shifting gradually towards milder weather, due to clear sunny days during the day warming up the lower atmosphere - while plunging into frost during the night.

So, Frosty nights are coming - that seem to be sure.

Much More Light !!

That is something we have gotten a lot more of. The length of daylight is increases with large steps. Practically 5 minutes longer for every day here in Stockholm. You can see, feel and enjoy it. Suddenly all more pronounced, compared to the dull months of January and part of February.

Sometimes it almost seems a little bit too fast. As if the soul doesn't catch up as fast.

Imagine how it must feel for people in the extreme north of Sweden. 0 hours in the end of December. 24 hours sunshine in June; big, big steps.
