Still unreal to think of that the other day we had almost 20°C in Stockholm - and then (very light) snowfall. Since then it has been a mixed bag, and of course a lot chillier - dressing with once again thick clothes. This morning, there is no frost, because it has been cloudy most of the night. A coldfront is approaching Stockholm, leading to cooler air flowing down - making the nights cold again with frost.

Daytime likely will be just a mere 4-5°C.

Then - it goes up again

American GFS prognosis calculates this. Which will likely be correct for the first couple days - and then not so much. Yet overall, there is a tendency to warmer weather, going more into a more serious springtime period with temperatures more often at and over 10°C, reaching perhaps even 15°C.

I surely wouldn't mind !

Sometimes I have days...

where I barely can believe that we are actually on the light side of the year. That the endless dark, gloomy days and weeks and even months of winter are over.

I mean... wow.

For real, you know. Albeit the breath of winter still lingers at a distance... Any time ready to strike, still.

So, it is a mixed time, so to speak.

Then there is so much more light for us: much longer days which are now close to 14 hours of daylight. Flowers have been popping up more often (Tulips, Easter Flowers, Crocus). Trees however take their time, of course. They usually start showing their light green leafs around 1 May.

Sal on the other hand...

will meet summer in Catania very soon. He has a ticket and will be there for a week - which should definitely give days with temperatures above 20°C, and perhaps even reach 25°C.

I'll stay in Stockholm and work as usual.
