I was writing at my desk, as i suddenly heard a lot of gusty winds raving at our balcony. Realizing that it was pretty stormy outside at times. And the thermometer was really stringy today: just a mere 4°C. That's pretty low for being daytime (albeit not unusual for this time of the year).

In other words; it feels rugged outside. I am absolutely sure that the temperatures will dip below 0°C tonight. I'll dress up with plenty of clothes when I go to work late evening. The chill effect will be around -5°C due to the winds.

The clouds and some showers further out of sea, are starting to dissolve again (later around 19.00) as the sun is nearing on its path towards the horizon.

Afternoon Temperatures • Europe

Here you see clearly the coldfront rushing down over Sweden, in its way southwards. East Europe is relatively cold after earlier inflow of cold air, which lead to snowfalls aplenty in many higher located regions there.

ON the other hand, UK, Ireland had warmer than normal weather, due to a stable high pressure area, which lead warm air into their region.

Warmer, then Cooler GFS Outlook

Looking at GFS 14-day weather model calculations (for Stockholm) about the "future" weather is like reading coffee sump in a cup. It change just constantly in the latter part of the "prognosis". In other words, totally unreliable and useless. But fun to look at.

This version today, shows a lot colder weather for the end of April (compared to the outlook they modeled yesterday). Instead of an average MAX of 13-14°C in end of April, they "predict" a mere 7°C only. If true, it would be a lot colder than normal.

Nevertheless, I am sure that in tomorrow's 14-day prognosis you'll see a totally different ending. Or at least partially different.

For the time being; in the upcoming days it will most likely get warmer, towards a peak somewhere between 10-15°C. on monday. So, that seem to be surer than the rest.

That's my take on their "14d weather model prognosis".

The restless Human Soul

Don't expect (as we often overdo it in that regard). It predefine and steers too much.

I have noticed that the human soul in our lands often gets a bit impatient this time of the year. Is it the soul's hunger and longing months of dull and darkness during wintertime ? I guess the Soul wants to play... Like children do.

Now that the light lasts a lot longer - you experienced the first warmer days - impatience starts creeping in. Jumping already into the longing for summer. It is a little bit like jumping from winter to summer directly (more or less). But April is April. And too early *LOL*

Then you get a bit disappointed when encountering cold says again...

The restless, youthful, hungry soul in human bodies. (Or is it the Ego ?!) Sometimes going ahead of ourselves.
