Yes indeed - the extended Easter Weekend didn't bring much to the table regarding temperature and sunshine hours. Basically no sunshine at all. This also made the daily 30 Ø day average dip from 8 hours to 6 hours per day. Still - if we only go back to April 2024 - then the 30 day average hovered around a mere 3.2 hours in the same period.

April month isn't finished yet, so there will be a rise in sunshine, where the thick red line represents April 2025. As of now however, we are at the same level sunshine like what we had for the whole month of march 2025. You know, when I woke up in the afteroon, i was a bit startled of how 'dark' it was. Like dull winter light coming through the windows, and I switched on the indoor lights.

Rain is on its way to Stockholm through a diffuse rain area which appeared out of nowhere. So yeah. Rain is coming. Actually, it is already raining...

Nature however looks stunning !

all the cherry trees are in full blossom now, both real ones, wild one and the fake ones - in pink or white colors. Together with the very light but intense greens from several types of trees. It looks really pretty. Tulips are also on their way to pop - dependent on where they have been planted.

Those in sunny areas, are already coming out. While others in more shady areas - or areas with less light, are still green, still growing taller in order to pop later. (They usually do that in the beinning of May). But everything this year has been growing/blossoming/unfolding earlier about 2-3 weeks). Most other years i remember since 2011, have been at a later date - except in April 2011, because that was a warm one.

Temperatures have dipped towards normal, even slightly lower than normal temperatures.

The MAX is lower than normal. But the MIN is milder than normal. It evens out in the daily average. That's why nature feels ensured to pop all its guns now that we are going into May anyway... Bushes, flwoers and trees started to grow and blossom more seriously. In slightly more slower pace now.

The rain we got

albeit not much here over Southern suburbs of Stockholm, is still very welcome addition. It rained a lot more north of Stockholm as well to the west.

Overall April 2025 has been warmer than normal this far - due to the two stunning warm periods we have had; The first period was exceptional, being so early in April, reaching 20°C in Stockholm. Even higher then that 21.9°C in Uppsala. Must be close to a local record.

The second warm period, brought it "only" to 16.7°C in the center of Stockholm. But i remember that it was warmer here in the southern suburbs, and north of it - in Sala (100 km NW), a whopping 22.2°C where registered. For unknown reasons the city stayed cooler in the MAX than its outer suburbs !

It is usually the other way around.

Nevertheless - altogether, this gave April 2025 a big push so far having been warmer than normal.

The payed Mainstream popaganda Media didn't take long, until they started to croak from the roof tops again, with articles about global warming, melting ice and endless of the same bullshit. What monther nature always has done with or without our consent - only that now it has endless titles and buzz prognosis about "our future", and "burning planet".

They litterally lost 12% of the Swedish pension fond, due to speculation, on stupid, "green" projects. Just to name one. Just like that. Tens of billions switched owner. And it ain't you.

Making up new laws, new silly projects, more billions down a black hole in the name of Green, Eco, "Save the planet" BS. The moeny never goes where you think it is going. The are excuses. See it like a laundry machine. FOr that you need public "excuse" projects. That's how 'wealth' from people is transfered into fewer greedy bastardoes, with mindsets of a reptiles.

Environmental "green" projects my ass, swallowing resources, destroying environments and of course money (=new loans, general people get to pay back via taxes). Draining people, eroding societies, infrastructure etc - endlessly like big black hole.

You basically get double fucked, so to speak.
