Yesterday morning, temperatures fell to -5.3°C in the outer suburbs in Stockholm-Tullinge. It is a known "cold hole", so usually temperatures often dip pretty extreme - while the city and inner suburbs are often much milder.
Still, -5.3°C is really cold. I wonder how vegetation is doing in that area. Here in Snösätra, I don't think we had frost. Perhaps some ground frost, but not enough to damage the blossoming vegetation.
This morning however, it only went down to +4.8°C - what a difference. Perhaps it was because of the cloud cover ? I am not sure.
Nevertheless, the onset of blossoms also have slowed down a notch - which prolongs the beauty. The Cherry blossoms have already faded, except for a fake cherry tree, which stands in full bloom, radiating in white - reminding of Aiwa from the movie "Avatar". It actually depends on the lighting. Sometimes, especially when it is darker outside, the tree really "glows".
This is however less visible during daytime.

Stockholm City right now is only +6°C
And has reached today's minimum temperature - which is quite bit late at 10.00. Wow. The sun is shining here in the South of Stockholm in between the clouds, but the temperature is reluctant to rise. Even it 10.45 it is only 7.7° and had only risen by 0.1°C.

Snow at a couple hundred meters height
From this photo i took yesterday evening, you can clearly see how snow is falling from the clouds in about a couple hundred meters height. A sign of that pretty cold air resides over Sweden.

Outlook ?
Well, gradually, slowly warmer. It might reach to 15°C or slightly above in one week (after the weekend) here in Stockholm. If we are lucky - another week later - even 20°C around 19-20 May. Well, that's too far off to be anything accurate.
Take that with a lot of salt.
The last time we had 20°C
was in the very beginning of April 2025, 2+3 April with 19°C in the City, but higher with 22.2°C in Film north of Stockholm. Even Snösätra reached 20°C. (Altogether; rather unusual)... But it might take a whopping 6-7 weeks, to get there again.
Well, it isn't the first time, that when you get a short warm period early in spring - but then have to wait many week until it gets pleasantly warm again. It is like... you get a taste of something really good... but then you are on a waiting list for what feels like a long time. I am sure some impatience colors the impression into a delayed experience.
