Despite the satellite image looks totally overcast, I can see slight openings among the clouds, showing blue sky. The sun is too low to shine - as it only lifts around 8° above the horizon, now that we are approaching winter solstice (where the sun goes up only 7 degrees above the horizon at the most). That's not much to write home about, really.
There seem to be low clouds of Cu fractus type, and higher up I see middle clouds looking like Altocumulus. And that lovely blue in between. Just patches - but that is enough to make the scenery lighter than normal. While the streets sound wet, as you can hear it from the bypassing cars.
The chart reminds me more of autumn like temperature rather then winter, due to the broad inflow of many low pressure areas and clouds, lifting the temperatures over wide areas in Europe. Dampening the icy temperatures in the North and middle of Scandinavia as well West Russia.

Slight Outlook change
Both the GFS and the European ECMWF are showing in the latest calculation model that a temporary inflow of colder air could happen. They added now a low pressure area which develops while pulling towards the end of next week in over Scandinavia while strengthening, sucking down colder air. That could lead to both dryer air (sunshine!) while inducing frost temperatures even during the day. It is modelled to be a rather short period of colder weather, though.

After that - milder air with clouds dominating
which would mean clouds and drizzle. The same type like we had / have now most of the time. As I am writing, more clouds are drifting in. After all - the satellite chart is already showing denser clouds hovering in over Southern Sweden.
That time is now.

6 Dec 2025: forget about the cold *LOL*
GFS already changed the whole thing one day later. I guess the model now "thinks" that no cyclone raves over Sweden during the end of next week, and with that no real cold air flowing down over Sweden, either.
So, there is that. Just mild weather
