The mild weather continues
and there are no clear signs of colder weather (or snow for that matter). So, most likely mild weather (with slightly lower MAX temperatures 5-6°C) until Christmas Eve 24th.
I really don't mind.
But here i am more practical - because snow and subway traffic, does impact the metro in Stockholm - especially the Green Line which goes outdoors most of the time, except in the city where it is located underground. Also going to work on slippery streets, just isn't my thing.
Yet, I also don't mind big time snow - because it changes the landscape completely... which is pretty to experience. So, I am divided about the "climate". But as usual in Scandinavia - it all depends where the low pressures are going. And for centuries, when they rave around across Scandinavia - well you get mostly mild, overcast weather during winter.
Nothing has really changed that much
Perhaps that the icy cold super winters have become fewer - that maybe. But what does a society like Stockholm need icy winters down to -30°C ? (Imagine the repercussions...)
