So, there will be three new figures from the Star Wars world, which I can use as my experimental models for light painting during the dark winter time. Kind of funny, that it would lead to this. I mean, I've never been a collector as far back I can remember. At school the kids would collect little cars and stuff, or various type of collector cards and God what else was popular back then.

I was never interested in any of that. Just didn't make much sense to me (plus it was expensive - as usual - where the pocket money rarely was enough to acquire any of that stuff).

So, it is a bit odd, that I've started collecting some of the Star Wars characters. I hope it isn't going over the top. The kid in me, would like to. But i also know, that this is likely just a phase (and to change characters in my light painting experiments, instead of focusing onto one Star Wars figure).

Nevertheless - what intrigued me the most - were the fine details - especially in the face of Obi Wan Kenobi. I never expected that when i bought the figure 1.5 years ago. Looking really like those characters from cinema. Pretty cool given that these figures are around 15 cm or 6" high.

Well then: two Jedis, and one badass are coming in the next week

X-Men Classics

I will also throw in some X-Men from the Classic Series, like Ororo (Storm), Wolverine, Jean Grey as "Dark Phoenix", and cool Gambit.

Oh man... so many characters there are

Ashoka from Star Wars I will absolutely add, too. She is one of the coolest character I can think of. Probably also Darth Vader some point, although I am not really a fan of him.
